Lucas Bergvall, born on 2 February 2006, is a professional footballer from Sweden who currently plays as a midfielder for Djurgardens IF in the Allsvenskan league and is a part of the Sweden national team. Regarded as one of Sweden’s most promising football talents, Bergvall has caught attention for his skills on the field. He will be joining Premier League giants, Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2024. Born and raised in Stockholm, Bergvall progressed through the IF Brommapojkarna academy. His debut in the Superettan league for the club took place on 9 July 2022, in a match against Orgryte IS. He scored his first goal for the club on 4 October 2022, facing Osters IF.

In December 2022, Bergvall joined Djurgarden and made his debut in Allsvenskan against BK Hacken on 24 May 2023. Following a standout performance in Djurgarden’s 1–0 victory, he was given as the man of the match by the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. Moving forward, on 1 February 2024, Tottenham Hotspur secured a five-year deal for Bergvall, with a reported transfer fee of £8.5 million. He is set to join the club on 1 July 2024. In terms of international career, Bergvall has played for various age groups in the Sweden national teams, from under-15 to under-21. He made his senior debut in a friendly match against Estonia on 12 January 2024. In his personal life, Bergvall has a footballer older brother, Theo, who also plays for Djurgarden.
