Early career of Manav Thakkar

Manav has been playing Table tennis since the age of 5, his parents introduced this game to him, however, he was also training in skating and gymnastics but table tennis suited Manav. Till the age of ten, he played in various state-level tournaments. In 2011, Manav’s life took a significant turn when the Table Tennis Federation of India conducted trials to select young players for the PSPB academy in Ajmer. Manav was among the chosen ones to train under the guidance of Chinese coach Liu Zhang Feng. Subsequently, he trained in Germany and Denmark with top-ranked players. Manav’s career breakthrough came when he won the U-12 National Championship and secured a Silver medal in the Polish Opens. However, Manav is not dating anyone at present and focused in his career.
