Get ready for some thrilling volleyball matches happening in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Indian Premier Volleyball League is back for its third season, starting February 15th and running until March 21st, 2024. The excitement begins with the defending champions, the Ahmedabad Defenders, taking on Chennai’s own, the Chennai Blitz, in the first match. Make sure you tune in – you can watch the games live on TV or stream them online throughout India.

Keep an eye out for a new team this year, the Delhi Toofans. They’re joining eight other teams in the battle for the championship. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Super 5s playoffs from March 11th to 18th, where the top five teams will compete. The team that wins here heads straight to the final match on March 21st. Meanwhile, the teams that come in second and third will play on March 19th to see who gets the last spot in the final.

All this volleyball excitement is taking place at the SDAT Multipurpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai. The winning team will not only be crowned champions but will also get to compete in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship happening later in the year in India, from December 9th to 15th. That’s when the Mumbai Meteors will go up against the Chennai Blitz at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. The Chennai Blitz is eager to bounce back after their loss to the Delhi Toofans, with a scoreline of 3-1.
