Top 5 longest Women’s Matches in WWE history

Women’s wrestling in the WWE has definitely changed direction from where it once was. Their matches used to be a brief interruption in the programme before they were over, but now they are frequently the main event and some of the most prominent events on WWE television. The history of the WWE Women’s division has seen many brief matches over the years, but more lately, there have also been some timeless matches. All matches will be counted for this list’s purposes, with the exception of the Women’s Royal Rumble matches, which are obviously the top 3 longest. Let’s examine the five longest women’s matches in history.

Becky Lynch Vs Charlotte Flair

In a thrilling Last Woman Standing match against Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship. It could not have been better that this was the first Last Woman Standing contest in WWE history. Both ladies made every minute count throughout the bout, which featured many close calls for victories and a brawl that started the match. The match also featured a variety of weapons. Charlotte was kept down for the 10 count after Becky Lynch powerbombed her through a table and off the apron to win.

Raw Women’s Championship

The Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss faced Bayley, Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville in the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match, which ranks as the second-longest women’s match in history. The best kind of everything was there in this match. It got off to a strong start when Bayley and Sonya Deville started fighting, then Bayley and Sasha teamed up to defeat Absolution in a sort of tag team match. When only Bayley and Banks remained to face Alexa, Banks eventually turned against Bayley. In the end, Alexa beat the odds to keep the championship.

Bayley Vs Sasha Banks

At NXT TakeOver: Respect, Sasha Banks and Bayley engaged in a 30-minute iron man match. Nearly two months had passed since Bayley’s triumphant defense of her title against Charlotte at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. The competition was intense as these two best friends in real life gave it their all. Sasha received the first fall, Bayley received the second, Sasha would regain the lead and receive the third, and Bayley answered once more. At precisely 30 minutes left in the match, Bayley forced Sasha to tap just as the timer went off.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

This list also includes the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Elimination Chamber bout. The inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions were to be crowned in this event. The Iconics, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan, Nia Jax & Tamina, and Naomi & Carmella were also in this bout in addition to Bayley & Sasha Banks. Beginning with Banks & Bayley and Rose & Deville, the bout was fast-paced the entire time. Before there was an elimination, there were 5 teams in the contest. The two teams that began were the last two, and each contributed to a thrilling conclusion. Sasha forced Deville to tap to The Bank Statement, giving Banks & Bayley the victory and the titles.

Charlotte Vs Sasha Banks

The ironman match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks, which lasted a total of 34 minutes and 45 seconds, is the longest women’s match in WWE history. The match itself was excellent since both parties were well-versed in one another after their fantastic feud in 2016. After Charlotte forced Sasha to tap out in the waning seconds, the match was knotted 2-2 at the end of regulation. Charlotte then went on to repeat the action in overtime to win the drawn-out contest and the Raw Women’s Championship.
