ISSF World Cup Final 2023: LIVE Streaming, When and Where to Watch, Schedule, Indian Contingent

The ISSF World Cup Final for 2023 is set to take place at the Lusail Shooting Complex in Doha, Qatar, from November 18 to November 26, 2023. The event will see competitions in rifle, pistol, and shotgun categories. The Indian team will be led by Olympian Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar along with the 2022 World Champion Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil.

Aishwary, who achieved remarkable success at the Asian Games 2022 with two golds, one silver, and one bronze, is expected to continue his excellent form in Doha. Rudrankksh, who has previously been ranked as the World no. 1, is also anticipated to showcase his potential in the event. Elavenil Valarivan, the reigning champion in the women’s 10m air rifle from the last ISSF World Cup Final, will be defending her title.

Mehuli Ghosh, who earned an Olympic quota for India with her bronze medal at the ISSF World Championship 2023 in August, will join Elavenil in the event. Sarabjot Singh, who won gold at the ISSF World Cup Bhopal earlier this year and earned a Paris Olympics 2024 quota at the Asian Shooting Championship 2023, will participate in the 10m air pistol event. Esha Singh, a multi-medalist at the Asian Games, will compete in the women’s category.

In the overall standings of the ISSF World Cup 2023, India currently stands in fourth place with a total of four gold, three silver, and four bronze medals. China leads the ranking with 18 gold, 13 silver, and 12 bronze medals. The United States is in the second position with 10 gold, seven silver, and three bronze, while Hungary is just ahead of India in the third position with nine gold, seven silver, and one bronze.
