What are Stephan Jaeger’s Net Worth, Salary, and Brand Endorsements? (2024)

Stephan Jaeger, hailing from Germany, is an established golfer on the PGA Tour. He boasts an impressive record with six victories on the Korn Ferry Tour, which ranks just below the PGA Tour in the U.S. His breakthrough on the PGA Tour came with a win at the Texas Children’s Houston Open on March 31, 2024. Jaeger had his first attempt at the U.S. Open in 2015 but unfortunately did not cut into rounds of 74 and 80. A remarkable performance at the 2016 Ellie Mae Classic saw him shoot a historic 58, 12-under par in the opening round.

He maintained his lead with consistent play and set a new record score of 250 over 72 holes, concluding the tournament at 30 under par, a clear seven strokes ahead of the second-placed Rhein Gibson. Despite this outstanding victory, Jaeger ended up 28th on the money list for the season, narrowly missing out on an automatic PGA Tour card by just three places. In 2017, he secured two more Korn Ferry Tour wins, and his earnings ranked him fifth for the season, which earned him a PGA Tour card for the next cycle.

In 2018, while ranked 161st in the FedEx Cup standings and not qualifying for The Players Championship, Stephan Jaeger won the Knoxville Open—his fourth Korn Ferry title. After a season where he did not finish within the FedEx Cup’s top 125 or the Korn Ferry Tour’s top 25, Jaeger regained his PGA Tour card through the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. Returning to the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020, Jaeger claimed his fifth tour title at the Albertsons Boise Open.

This victory secured him a spot in the 2020 U.S. Open and entry into four alternate events on the PGA Tour in 2021, thanks to his standing in the tour points after the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. For the 2020-21 season, he was honored as the Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year. During the 2021-22 PGA Tour season, Jaeger showed strong form with top-10 finishes at the Wells Fargo Championship and the Rocket Mortgage Classic. His persistence paid off when he triumphed at the Texas Children’s Houston Open on Easter Sunday in 2024, marking his inaugural PGA Tour win.

International Career

The golfer began his pro career in 2012 but found his initial year on the Korn Ferry Tour less than thrilling. Not having won any tournaments or achieved high rankings, he lost his tour card for the following year. In a bid to reclaim his tour status, he competed in the PGA Tour Latin America in 2014. His efforts paid off as he gradually improved and regained his Korn Ferry Tour status. Four years into his professional life, he celebrated his first victory on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2016, at the Ellie Mae Classic, and repeated his win the next year.

By 2017, he had three Korn Ferry Tour wins under his belt and earned a spot in the PGA Tour for the next season. However, that season didn’t live up to his expectations. The German golfer found himself back on the Korn Ferry Tour for 2019 after losing his PGA Tour card. Despite the setback, he kept his spirits high and went on to claim three more tournament wins, upping his total professional victories to six. As of 2023, thanks to his top 70 standing in the FedExCup, he’s secured a place for the 2024 season. In his last 20 starts, he’s made every cut, with his last miss being at the RBC Heritage Classic in April 2023.

Domestic Career

Stephan Jaeger joined the men’s golf team, which won the Boys Division II State Championship in 2006. In 2007, he was a member of the TSSAA State Championship squad as well. Jaeger was admitted to the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga following his high school graduation.
