After the intense contest, LeBron James reflected on the enduring rivalry between him and Curry, acknowledging the greatness they bring to the game, even as they age.

“It’s something that you will truly take all in when you’re done playing and be able to watch with your grandkids and say ‘I played against one of the best players to ever play this game,” James shared after the game. He highlighted a post-game moment where Curry approached him and remarked, ‘how does it keep getting better,’ emphasizing their mutual respect for each other’s skills and dedication.

LeBron James believes Steph Curry helps him stay “young”

LeBron James, in his comments via NBA.com, also humorously mentioned how Curry’s style of play helps keep him feeling young. Despite being considered two of the older players in the league, their on-court battles continue to captivate fans, showcasing their enduring talent and commitment to the sport.

“Steph keeps me young too. We are two of the older guys in the league, but it was fun today,” added LeBron James via NBA.com.

The Lakers’ hard-fought victory improved their season record to 24-23, while the Warriors fell to 19-24. Although Curry maintains an overall winning record against James (27-23), the Lakers have had success against the Warriors in recent matchups, including a triumph in the Western Conference Semifinals during the 2023 NBA playoffs.
