March Madness 2024 On MAX: Where to watch, date, time, schedule, livestream

March Madness has a way of leaving an impression on you long after the winning team has scored. From Bryce Drew’s spectacular buzzer-beater to future NBA great Steph Curry guiding No. 10 Davidson to the Elite Eight in 2008, you never know when a classic moment may strike. This is the unexpected brilliance of March Madness.

March Madness is the best time of the year! In the ensuing three weeks, 68 teams in both the men’s and women’s divisions will play a total of 135 games. So get your brackets ready, because there’s a lot of action to come.

Fortunately, viewing March Madness is much simpler this year. You can watch all 135 games with only two streaming subscriptions: Paramount+ and, maybe shockingly, HBO’s Max. The NCAA action begins this Tuesday, March 19, with the men’s First Four games on TruTV (live on Max). Here’s everything you need to know about March Madness, including NCAA tournament dates, free game streaming options, and more.

March Madness 2024 on MAX can be watched on mutliple TV channels which includes CBS, TNT, TBS, TruTV, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU. All the information is for the EST timezone. Those who wish to livestream can watch the NCAA tournament on Paramount+, Max, Sling Orange & Blue.

The men’s NCAA tournament will air live on CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV. Previously, such combination was difficult to achieve with only one, two, or even three streaming providers. But this year, watching March Madness should be a lot less frustrating. Many folks already have free access to CBS on the air. However, if you do not currently receive live local channels such as CBS on your television, we recommend investing in an old-fashioned TV antenna or signing up for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, which includes live CBS coverage.

For the other channels, HBO’s Max continues to provide its sports add-on (B/R Sports) for free to all Max tier members. So, for $9.99 a month, you can watch live March Madness games on TNT, TBS, and TruTV. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, and ABC will carry games from the women’s NCAA tournament.
