Austin Reaves stats: What are his numbers with Los Angeles Lakers?

Austin Reaves stats: Austin Reaves has played for the Lakers for two seasons. In 125 regular-season games, he averaged 10.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He was a member of the Wichita State Shockers and the Oklahoma Sooners in college. Reaves became an undrafted free agent with the Lakers. In Newark, Arkansas, he attended Cedar Ridge High School. For his first two years, he won back-to-back Class 2A state championships. In a triple-overtime victory over Forrest City High School, Reaves scored 73 points. He led his team to the Class 3A state championship as a senior, averaging 32.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.

Reaves was voted state tournament MVP after averaging 43.3 points in four games. He was a two-time All-State pick in Class 3A. On January 20, 2016, he chose Wichita State over offers from South Dakota State and Arkansas State to play collegiate basketball.

Reaves had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder before his rookie season at Wichita State. Since his junior year of high school, he had been playing with injuries. He averaged 4.1 points per game as a freshman as a reserve. Reaves underwent surgery after the season to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder, which had dislocated three times throughout his collegiate career, forcing him to miss games. He had a sophomore season-high 23 points and four assists in a 90-71 win over Tulsa on January 28, 2018. In the first half, Reaves hit seven three-pointers, the most in a half in program history. He averaged 8.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore while shooting 42.5 percent from three-point range.

Reaves signed a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers on August 3, 2021, after going undrafted in the 2021 NBA draught. He was signed to a regular NBA contract on September 27. Reaves made his NBA debut on October 22nd, scoring eight points off the bench in a 115-105 defeat to the Phoenix Suns. He scored 15 points on 5-of-6 three-point shooting, grabbed 7 rebounds, and shot the game-winning 3-pointer in a 107-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on December 15.

On March 19, 2023, Reaves had a career-high 35 points, six rebounds, and six assists off the bench in a 111-105 win over the Orlando Magic, scoring the Lakers’ final ten points. Reaves secured a signature shoe agreement with Chinese sports gear firm Rigorer in March 2023, which he wore during the 2022-2023 season. The first sneaker, dubbed “AR1,” will be available in May 2023.

Reaves recorded his first triple-double of the season on April 10, 2022, in a 146-141 overtime win against the Denver Nuggets, and set career highs in points, rebounds, and assists, with 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists in 42 minutes. On April 16, 2023, he scored 23 points in Game 1 of the First Round playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies, his first NBA playoff game, in a 128-112 triumph. In Game 4 of the same series, he replicated that effort, leading the Lakers in points in a 117-111 overtime triumph.
